David E Kelley (he of Boston Legal and The Practice – oh, and some show that was inexplicably popular for a couple of years in the late 90s) has signed on to showrun the US remake of Life On Mars.

I think it’s a great choice. Quirky humour and great drama in the same package. Can’t wait to see it.

Funny though, I always figured they’d set the remake in New York.

Guess it’s going to be Boston.
